Healthy Ramadan Iftar Recipe: Fantastic Fruit Smoothie

Fruit Smoothie


Iftar refers to a plate eaten in a dusk to mangle one’s fast. Here’s a good plate for a same — illusory fruit smoothie. 


This fruit-sweetened smoothie not usually satisfies a honeyed tooth, though it is full of healthy antioxidant-rich foods. This smoothie will yield evident hydration during Iftar time. Makes about 2 to 2 ½ cups (2 servings). Frozen fruit creates smoothies additional thick and creamy. If we don’t like icy cold beverages, use uninformed fruit instead. Experiment with a accumulation of juices and fruit, depending on what is in season.


Ingredients


  • 1 solidified or uninformed banana, damaged into chunks (see tips below) 

  • 1/2 cups unsweetened fruit extract (your choice, any kind) 

  • 1/2 cup sliced uninformed or solidified unsweetened fruit or berries 

  • 1/2 cup plain, vanilla, or fruit-flavoured soy yoghurt (optional)

Method


Combine all mixture in blender and routine until really well-spoken and creamy. Serve immediately.


Tips


With a few developed bananas in your freezer, we can always emanate a discerning breakfast smoothie. Simply flay bananas, place them in cosmetic bags, and store in a freezer. They will final for several weeks, depending on your freezer’s temperature.


To make your smoothie additional tawny and give it a sustaining protein boost, try adding a small powdered soy divert or protein powder before to blending.
