Shravan recipe: Sabudana salad

sabudanaWe are currently in Shravan, a Hindu month of fasting for Lord Shiva. You can't do but giving your physique adequate nourishment to lift out opposite tasks however. In sequence to do so, here is a healthy sabudana salad recipe. 


Ingredients


  • Sago – ½ cup

  • Mint – ½ cup

  • Green chillies – 2

  • Buttermilk – 1 cup

  • Fruits (pineapple, orange, honeyed lime, pomegranate, etc) – 1 cup

  • Raisins – 2 tbsp

  • Rock or black salt to taste

Method


Blend chillies, buttermilk and packet together. Transfer this to a bowl, supplement sabudana and concede it to mount for an hour.


After an hour, steam a sabudana easily and transfer to a bowl; concede it to cool. Add fruit and raisins.


Toss good and serve.
