Healthy recipe: Pumpkin Raita

recipeRaita is made using curd or dahi which has several benefits for our body. One of them is it helps in digestion. That is the reason people eat it along with or after meals. It also packs in protein and calcium. This raita is made healthier with the addition of pumpkin in it. Pumpkin or kaddu is great for the eyes and it also is low in number of calories. Learn how to make this healthy dish. 


Ingredients


  • 150g pumpkin, boiled

  • 300g low-fat dahi (curd) (pre-heated)

  • ¼ tsp jeera (cumin) powder

  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped (optional)

  • Salt to taste

Method


Mash the boiled pumpkin.
Add the pumpkin to the pre-heated dahi.
Add salt, chilli and jeera.
Mix well.
Serve chilled.
