Onam 2014: Adai dosa recipe


Ingredients


To grub batter 


  • 1 crater Raw rice

  • 1 crater Idli rice

  • ½ crater Chana Dal

  •  ¼ crater Toor dal

  • ¼ crater Masoor dal

  • ¼ crater Urad dal

  • ¼ crater Moong dal

  • Oil – to make adai

  • Salt – to taste

  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder

  • Chopped onions to ornament (optional)

  • Chopped coriander to ornament (optional)

  • Chopped immature chilli (optional)

To grub spice 


  • 20 Dry red chilli

  • 1 tbsp Fennel seeds

  • 1 tsp Hing

  • Ginger – 1″ square minced

  • 3 pods Garlic

Method


  • Take all mixture mentioned underneath to grub beat in a vast play rinse it with H2O 2-3 times and soak in H2O for 3-4 hours

  • Drain a additional H2O and grub a mixture for 20-30 mins until it reaches dosa beat consistency.

  • Meanwhile grub all a mixture underneath to grub pulp and supplement to a beat along with salt, turmeric powder, brew good and set aside for 20 mins

  • Heat a skillet and drizzle oil/ghee now take a laddle full of a beat and make thick pancakes/dosas, drizzle with some-more oil/ ghee

  • Garnish it with onions, coriander and immature chilli and Serve prohibited along with aviyal or coconut chutney
