‘Foods fortified with B12 are also sources of a vitamin. Examples of such dishes are breakfast cereals, fortified soy products, fortified appetite bars, and fortified nutritive yeast,’ Arora said.


Huded combined that vitamin B formidable tablets too are a good option.

‘Yes, there is a miss of recognition in India about vitamin B12 deficiency. This can be tackled by emphasising by media, improved doctor-patient communication and roping in supervision health workers like anganwadi workers,’ Sharma said.
